Sue Smith has been a councillor for Mount Hermon West since 2002..

She has lived in Mount Hermon for over 13 years. She is divorced with one grown up son. Sue was a founder member of the SDP and has been active in local politics for most of the last 24 years. She is also a part time teacher.

Her main interests in the council are the environment - she is Vice Chair of the Environment O&S Committee - housing and culture.

Sue is also a part time teacher of English, Latin and French. She is on the board of the Lightbox and is a school governor of Maybury Infants.
