John Doran

John and his family have lived in Horsell for nearly 16 years. His wife, Anna, is treasurer of both Horsell Care and the Village Hall, and his son attends the High School.

John has worked for most of his life in the transport industry. He was the County Councillor for Horsell between 2005 and 2009.

As transport and highways spokesman, John has fought for better road maintenance in Woking

John is concerned about the environment and has taken steps to reduce his family's carbon footprint. They use public transport regularly and drive a hybrid car. They plan to have solar panels fitted to their roof.
